The Valley of Wizards

About event

Kamal Abdulla "The Valley of Wizards"

The play "The Valley of Wizards" is based on the novel of the same name by People's Writer Kamal Abdulla. This stage production, filled with mystical events, explores the harmony between parallel worlds. It tells the story of Caravanbashi, who, in search of his father, Executioner-in-Chief, is led by fate to the Valley of Wizards. Here, he encounters the White Dervish and the Traveler Wizard, who lives in both worlds. Summoning a spirit, they set the stage for Caravanbashi’s fateful and tragic encounter.

The play also delves into the tragic fate of a person striving for truth.
Humans deeply desire to learn the truth, rushing toward it, yet they often forget that the end of this path might bring disaster and misfortune. What does the pursuit of truth lead to? Is revenge necessary? The play conveys the idea, "Do not live with the feeling of revenge," and emphasizes this message to the audience.

The stage director of the play is Honored Art Worker Bahram Osmanov.
